At one time in America this is what entertainment was like

The Nicholas Brothers were an African-American team of dancing brothers, Fayard and Harold, who performed a highly acrobatic technique known as “flash dancing“. With a high level of artistry and daring innovations, they were considered by many to be the “greatest tap dancers of their day.” After watching the video clip below of the Nicholas brothers tap dancing, it should become clear why they were considered the “greatest tap dancers of their day.”  While growing up the Nicholas brothers were surrounded by vaudeville acts as children, they became stars of the jazz circuit during the heyday of the Harlem Renaissance and went on to have successful careers performing on stage, film, and television well into the 1990s. Compare the Nicholas brothers to what is called “entertainment” today and the disparity should become pretty apparent. This tap dancing is just amazing…and indeed, we are in “stormy weather” in the entertainment industry.
