Become a citizen of the world and stop patronizing rogue governments

There are a lot of people throughout the world who have basically had enough of this shit with governments and what they are allowing to go on in the world, and now with North Korea allegedly detonating a hydrogen bomb. I mean, what the hell was that all about? And with Japan arming itself to the teeth with new weapons systems and passing corporate laws that now allows Japan to export military hardware while at the same time countries are being urged to stop arming Saudi Arabia. Then Japan has the temerity to be outrage while North Korea detonates a hydrogen bomb? One such person who I admire and have been watching over the years, and who has become a spokesperson for World Citizen Solutions, is Ken O’Keefe. I think it is about time people come together and form communities of people as world citizens and not as citizens of any country with their sometimes extreme forms of nationalism like Israel and to a lessor extent Japan. The nation-state creations are only an invention about 300 years-old now and look what havoc the nation-state system has wrought on the world. In the Islamic world the idea of a nation-sate isn’t in their history and it wasn’t until later the French and the British divided up the Middle East and placed arbitrary borders as nations.

“Humanity’s challenge at this decisive point in history is to face a monster that is desperately attempting to expand it’s tyrannical system of human enslavement. Simultaneously human consciousness is growing with unparalleled expansion and this is a grave threat to the tyrants. Only one of these forces, humanity or tyranny, can succeed and the world we handover to our children and future generations will be defined by our success or failure in this regard. The irony is that the tyrants have no power but that which we have unwittingly relinquished to them… in order to create a better world owe simply need to take our power back. That is my ultimate goal; a better world. My wisdom in this matter comes from the knowledge that the attainment of this goal is not up to me, it is up to us.” – Ken O’Keefe, Nov. 2015

“Ken is the ultimate voice of dissent – a hero of peace and justice. He is a true charismatic orator who grasps the world in which we live and fights to make it a better place for all.” – Gilad Atzmon, www.gilad.co.uk

  1. People were killing each other long before nation states came into existance. In fact, in the beginning, the early nation states were relative safe havens compared to the ungoverned areas. The Roman empire, its collapse, the Middle Ages with its monastic system, and then the Renaissance can all be explained as a struggle to defend against wild tribes of people who lived only by the law of violence. The wild tribes of North Africa, the slavic regions, the goths the vikings etc. Don’t blame the nation states. Blame human nature. Violence is part of our DNA. No matter what the political system, the world will always be ruled by violence or the threat therof.

    • That’s a misnomer: “Wild tribes?” They usually fought for their lands which inevitably ended up as nations. The Roman empire didn’t collapse. Roman law (corporate law by the private bar guilds) maintain commerce through the law merchants based on these same laws up until this very day.

The hybrid corporations came out of nations which have now monopolized trade through cartels.

Violence is not in the DNA. In fact, evidence suggests some of the DNA is dormant. Violence does though have the weird tendency to alter DNA as has been suggested by different studies. Which is why oligarchs and corporations that have privatized governments have a certain financial interest when their peasants run off to some “third world” (racist term) nation and kill everyone, or as many as they can for these same cartels calling it patriotism. Peaceful trade between nations and taking care of its citizens, yes.

Nation-states are an oligarch’s dream. Like in republics. They can get their re-publicized peasants to do anything they want for them.

  2. Not really. The Vikings didnt fight for their lands. They invaded other peoples lands. As did the Zulus, the Goths the Huns and many other, yes the word is correct, tribal peoples. I agree that nation states or any other form of political/social organization is vulnerable to coersion similar to what has happened in corporatist America, but the solution is not Anarchy. The solution is better democracy that is more representitive of and responsive to the people. I am pretty nagative about it all though. The world has always been ruled by violence. Every now and then we get a glimmer of hope that things are changing – peace in the Balkans for example – but the basic situation has not changed at all since the dawn of man. We like to fight. Over and out to you BD. Have a good weekend.

    • Vikings were glorious. It was their tribe who at some point went into Russia and eventuality created the handsome Russian aristocracy around Nicolas II until the Bolsheviks slaughtered them. The Rurik dynasty was founded by the Varangian tribe led by Rurik who descended from Vikings. I know, I’m Russian/Slavic.

Steven Pinker would disagree with you on the history of violence.

And the religion of Democracy is for the brain dead and the peasant class.
