Japan’s Shinzo Abe and Vladimir Putin meeting in Vladivostok today for the Eastern Economic Forum

Japan’s Shinzo Abe running interference for the LDP corporate giants, and Vladimir Putin will be meeting in Vladivostok for the Eastern Economic Form today. Then Putin will be headed to China tomorrow where he will meet with Chinese and Argentine leaders. What a schedule. Sure would like to know what they will be discussing? Japan’s rearmament? Natural gas networks? Infrastructure investment by the Japanese in Russia’s east? Which might be the reason Russia has decided to move an entire division of the Russian army east towards Vladivostok by 2018. To keep an eye on North Korea and Japan. It is expected that this forum will attract US$15 billion in investment to Russia. And if anyone doubts Russia’s military capacity, have a look what is being designed and tested for future combat. When you have a powerful military with ultra-modern weapons and munitions, it’s like having Al Capone’s mob, or in Japan’s case the Yakuza, in a triumvirate with Japan’s royal house, the LDP and the NPA, behind your negotiations for concessions.
