Japan’s Prime Minster Shinzo Abe arrives in Washington and then onto Florida for talks and golf

Japan’s Prime Minster Shinzo Abe arrived in Washington for two days of talks with the Trump administration to cover trade and Japan’s $150 billion technology infrastructure investment in America. President Trump and Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will leave for Florida for continued negotiations and discussions as well as a game of golf. Welcome to America, Prime Minster Shinzo Abe, enjoy your stay – and negotiations. President Trump stated at one point that he thinks Japan should be allowed to negotiate and achieve trade agreements with Russia with minimum interference from the US. Again demonstrating this is the first time in many years in America in which a businessman has become president. Are we going to see mercantilism once again being the basis of trade agreements between the US and Japan? Enjoyed seeing President Donald Trump and Prime Minister give each other a brief hug as Shinzo Abe exited his car and was met at the door of the White House by Donald Trump covered on the news.
